Project Summary

Set against the beautiful hills of La Jolla with sweeping coastal views, this project involved the restoration of a contemporary outdoor space featuring an elegant collection of teak furniture. Over time, the intense California sun and salt air had faded the wood, leaving it dry and weathered. Our client, Annette Bradbury, wanted to bring back the warm natural tone of the teak while preserving the clean, modern look of her outdoor area.

What We Did

The restoration process included a full outdoor dining set, teak-framed lounge chairs, low-profile chaises, and a round coffee table, all situated on a light-toned wood deck. We began with a deep clean to remove surface dirt, oxidation, and environmental buildup. Once the furniture was fully prepped and dried, we applied Semco Warm Honey, a premium sealer that penetrates deeply into the teak and enhances its golden tones while delivering strong protection against UV damage and moisture.

This treatment was especially effective in unifying the furniture’s appearance with the natural surroundings and the clean architectural lines of the home.
