Teak Chair Restoration and Sealing

Resort Hotels love to use teak for their patio and pool areas because it’s sturdy, durable and looks great… if it’s properly maintained. Teak and Deck Professionals works with a number of hotels and resorts to keep their teak looking and performing its best throughout the year. In this project we had a number of Teak Lounge chairs surrounding a large salt water pool. As an important consideration this pool was actively used throughout the day which meant the teak loungers were often damp, in addition the location of the loungers was in the shade. This combination meant that the furniture would often be damp throughout the night.  Our team cleaned and restored these pieces back to their original beauty, however we adjusted the maintenance schedule to include a clean and seal just prior to their high season.  This simple change in scheduling meant the pieces had the highest level of protection during their highest time of use. The property manager was delighted that we took the time to understand their business. Sometimes easy changes are the best ones.
